Install Windows 7 with no mouse or keyboard?

First post sorry if I'm missing some information. Here's my situation...
Recently my motherboard died so I upgraded my motherboard, processor, and ram.
My old set up was a X58 Asus motherboard with an i7 920. The new mobo I just installed is a z170 MSI Mortar with an i5 6600k.
My computer currently has Windows 7 installed and when it boots up I have no drivers. None of my USB ports work 2 or 3, I tried a PS2 keyboard and mouse as well that doesn't work. My keyboard and mouse both work in the BIOS. I tried safe mode as well with no luck.
I thought I would do a fresh Windows 7 install, but even in the Windows 7 installation screen I can't use the mouse or keyboard.
I had a windows 8 disk around so when I popped that in I can use the mouse and keyboard at the installation screen. Unfortunately I don't have a Windows 8 key.
Right now my current though is to burn a Windows 10 installation media and install Windows 10 assuming I'll be able to. I did reserve my Windows 10 upgrade while I was using 7 but never actually upgraded.
That's the best idea I've come up with so far. If anyone has anything that could help me out I would greatly appreciate it, and if there's any other information I could provide just let me know.

Thanks

Not much help I'm afraid, but I can tell you that you must first upgrade existing Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10 before you can perform a clean install of Windows 10 anytime thereafter.
