Install windows 8.1 on my new pc

hi guys,
I have recently been done with my pc and are about to install windows 8.1.
My question is how do i install it, It's a new pc so no programs are installed. I was thinking of getting a key code but then it hit me, how and where do i install the key code? I also heard that u are suppose to install windows by usb or dvd. But the problem is that i cant buy windows 8.1 on a usb or dvd. I have a laptop and am i suppose to install the windows 8.1 key code on my laptop and put it on my dvd/ usb?
Im a litte bit confused so i hope u guys can help me out here.
If u guys can explain for me step by step how im suppose to do or if you send me a video or link where they aswell explain step by step how to install windows 8.1 on the dvd/usb.

If by "getting a key code" you mean the installation key, you have to buy one. As for the installatoin itself, Microsoft provides the tool for you to either make a bootable USB disk or a DVD. More info in the link below.
