Hi
i was trying to install windows 10 redstone 2 x64 on my new pc with 128Gb intel 600p ssd ( mainboard : Asus z270E , cpu : i7 6700K ,two HDD 1 T seagate )
and this error msg came to me :
" The Selected Disk is of the GPT Partition Style "
i set uefi bios to use uefi and legacy and noting change .
some forums said to convert GPT to MBR for old machines but i don't want to do it .( my system was totally new ! )
i cant figured it out how to install windows on my SSD without convert it to MBR !

Solution
i solve it .
for others like me :
i have 1 ssd and 2 HDD , i remove 2 HDD to decrease the stress of losing data :))
then try to install windows , message came up again and say :
" The Selected Disk is of the GPT Partition Style "
then close the message hold Shift+F10 to open CMD
, use diskpart command to clean the ssd and convert it to GPT ( its GPT but convert it again )

( "diskpart -> list disk -> select disk 1 (1 signifies the number of GPT disk) -> clean -> convert GPT." )

then start setup windows without problem .
(the problem is why i have to convert the GPT partition to GPT partition :)) , but ignore it lets convert it again )
The answer is simple, the error is stupid... I mean, if they just spelled it out in words you could understand or a sentence that made sense, I wouldn't have to type this...

Your last install on drive was in Master Boot record format (MBR) so it was win 7 or maybe 8
Your current PC uses UEFI so supports Global Unique ID (GUID) Partition Style (GPT)

Windows 10 sees these two statements and thinks, I want to use GPT, but being stupid it spits out "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disc id of the GPT partition style" which makes no sense.

the simple answer to problem is delete all the partitions on the SSD and click next. If it still spits out an error, restart the installer and click next on this screen. Win 10 wants to install onto a blank drive with unallocated space so it can create its partitions. If all it said was "Win 10 cannot install onto MBR, please delete all partitions and click next" we wouldn't be having this conversation :)
