Installation Drivers

Hello,
I have got hold of a Maxtor HDD that I am trying to set up a tower with. I have everything in the tower apart from the HDD and I have an original Vista O/S disk. When I try to install Vista, I get so far and then it asks me for installation drivers for the HDD. I do not have any disk with drivers on it, anyone got any ideas where I can get the installation drivers??
Without these drivers, I cannot use the system, please help..

you can download the drivers after your install from the computers manu site!

Problem is, I cannot install Windows Vista. It gets to the stage asking where I want to install o/s, but it cannot see the drives. I need the installation drivers so it can see the HDD.
