I got the windows 7 ultimate x64 edition from sevenforums and burned it to a disk. However when installing it stops at 93% expanding and gives me the error :

Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt ir missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017

This is a full clean install as my old windows bugged out.

Just getting the disk won't help you without the license key, did you buy the Ultimate license as well or do you have the key you used before?

If the download was from Digital River I know they are good fles, you may need to burn with a slower speed.

You may have a bad hard drive as well, run a test on it with a boot disk like Ultimate Boot CD or Hirens.

I found my old disk for windows and it seemed that i was simply burning them wrong? also i couldnt use the usb because my usb ports were 3.0 and i didnt have the drivers. Thanks for helping everybody though!

Also hang-the-9 it probably was me burning it too fast ;/

It's tough to burn them wrong unless you just try to put the ISO file on the disk and not actually create a disk from the ISO which is different. But if you have issues, a slower burn speed may help, as long as you are creating the ISO properly.

Your system should have a USB2 port on it to boot from, I have not seen any computer that did not have at least one USB2 port on it. I ran into this issue with some Lenovo W series laptops, hey have two USB3 ports on the side that are easy to see, but there is also a USB2 in the back by the battery I had to find. Worked fine to install off a USB once I found it.
