I took the hard drive from my old computer and installed it on my current computer. Whenever I start my computer, it gives me an error message that my Windows isn't genuine. My current computer has Windows 7 Professional while the old computer had Windows 10 Home. I would like to keep Windows 7. Everything works fine, but I would like to remove this annoyance.

Hi there C_Alonzo2,

So, you took an old Win 10 HDD from another computer and installed it in your computer right?
I believe you will just need to back up the data stored on the drive and reformat it. You will not be able to use the Win 10 as it was installed on another machine anyway.
If you are having some troubles accessing the drive, then I believe you can use some data recovery tool for DOS. You can check the Ubuntu Live CD approach out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/267999-32-recover-data-mode
You will need a CD/USB flash drive, so you can boot from it (just boot, don't install it) -> access drive -> back up data -> reformat.
