I have a B450 Aprus M Motherboard.
The drives aren't important. They're all fine and the system reads them fine..

My OS is on one 250 g SATA SSD.
And I wanted to add an M.2 for extra storage. It's a 1 tb. But when I did, the motherboard only reads the M.2, even though the boot drive is plugged in.
What is going on?

I tried unplugging all drives, some drives, etc. It's only when I install the M.2 that there's a problem at all. I go into the BIOS and it only shows that the M.2 it's present. It doesn't even show any other drive at all to change to boot from.

Any ideas?

Solution
Try a different SATA header. I would recommend that you connect your SATA drive to the SATA3 0 header.

On this board, if an M.2 drive is installed, depending on which slot it is installed in, it will disable some of the SATA headers.
