Installed new hard drive OS asking for partition type. Which one do I use?

I just installed a new HDD in my system and Windows 10 is asking "Use the following partition style for the following disks: MBR (Master Boot Table ) or GPT (GUID Partition Table).

Which one should I select?

I use this particular PC for gaming, basic net research and storage of digital info/data. The reason I am asking is in past windows operating systems I always used the MBR but the GPT says it is not compatible with older OS's so I just want to be sure that I am selecting the proper one for this application. This new drive will be used for games and storage.

system specs:
MB: Asus Sabertooth 990fx r.2
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM: 4x4GB G.Skill Ares 1866
HDD: NEW DRIVE Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB, WD Blue 500GB, Hitachi Deskstar 500GB
SSD: Kingston V300 120GB
PSU: Seasonic X850
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970
SC: Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

Solution
Either or, GPT is newer, and is required for drives over 2.2TB, MBR is older and is compatible with older OS's as well, if this is not going to be an external drive that you will use on Windows XP machines than theres no reason for choosing MBR.

Thank you for your answer. This drive is being used as in internal drive and, as far as I know, will not be used with any XP OS machines SO I will go with the GPT. Thank you for your explanation of what the GPT is for and your quick response to my inquiry. Big thumbs up. :)

Thanks for the link but this was just an additional drive to expand my storage to go along with my current 3 HDD's. I just filled them up so I needed more space. I haven't gotten a new drive for storage in a few years and coming across this message just through me for a loop.
