Question Installed new processor wont boot

Hello everyone! Please I need help.I have ASUS B85m-gamer motherboard, I purchased a used cpu which is i7 4770 which is I think compatible with the board, when I tried to turn it on, it turns on, no beeps but there's no display. I tried removing the memory card and it beeps. I already reset CMOS. What do you guys think the problem? Do you think its about the BIOS? But before my i3 4170 is working very well. Thanks guys.

Did you try with graphics card removed?
Did you try with single ram module in different slots?
Does it work with old cpu? If not, could be bent cpu socket pins.

Yes Sir I tried all of that I only have one stick of ram and tried to test all slot. Actually I dont have the 4170 now, I also tried ung the onboard vga but nothing happens

When trying from onboard video output, discrete graphics card has to be removed from system (integrated video gets disabled with discrete card present).

If you did all that, then inspect cpu socket for bent pins.

cpu socket does it means motherboard cpu pins? and if there's a bent pins is it possible to revive it back sir?

Sometimes it is possible to fix bent pins (if damage is not too extensive and there are no broken pins).

Motherboard could need an bios update or you been sold a faulty CPU

The Intel Core I3-4170 requires BIOS version 0501. The Intel Core I7-4770 only requires BIOS version 0402 (original). A BIOS update is not required (source).

It's possible that the processor which you purchased was fried or not actually an I7-4770. Where you able to see it boot up before you purchased it? If not, where did you purchase it from?
