Installed new PSU, computer fans started making demonic noises upon boot

Got a new PSU yesterday. Installed it with all the right pins connected. Turned on the computer and all the fans started making extreme rattling noises like it's a jet engine. Is this behavior normal when using a new PSU?

I'm gonna try to find the source of the noises, it's probably the CPU cooler's fan. Dunno why that would be the culprit though.

That's a decent PSU. How are your fans connected, through the motherboard fan connectors?

yeah, all fan connections are through the mobo. It seems everything is connected fine, doubled check to make sure. Gonna reboot to see if it makes the same noise.

Problem resolved. It seems this was only an issue when the PSU is booted on for the first time ever. Everything works perfectly now~
