Installed one drive and used university account only to have computer issues?

Hi, So I've recently started going university and one of the things they offer on the course is a 1TB one drive account so you can backup any work that you do and don't have to lug around a hard drive. I was chuffed about this and connected the account to the ondrive on my computer. After this weird things started happening such as graphical glitches and things crashing really often. I disconnected the onedrive account and things returned relatively to normal. But ever since this happened though there have been small graphical glitches and things happening which didn't happen before and considering I've spent about a grand on this computer It's got me worried.

So basically questions are...
-Has anyone had or know of this happening with one drive before?
-How might I go about searching for issues with my computer that aren't necessarily obvious?

You have described one glitch as a "graphic". Be more specific about others.

For graphic issues one usually reinstalls the gpu driver.
For hardware and driver issues generally, one usually looks for problems showing up in Device Manager and event viewer.
