[SOLVED] Installing 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000MHz on B450 question.

Hello,

I just completed the build of new AMD Ryzen 5 2400g PC.
Motherboard is Asrock B450 Steel Legend.

It got 4 memory slots. I installed 1st stick on the slot close to CPU Fan and the second one to the 3rd slot from CPU Fan.
Is that the correct way?

Looks like you got it per the diagram on page 1, although they generally list populating A2 and B2.

You can also verify with CPU-Z where it should say dual channel under the memory tab.

Cpuz does say dual channel.
should I use a2 and b2 for better performance?

Just wanted to mention, moving to A2/B2 did have effect on RAM speed.
I was getting only 2133MHz earlier. Now can get it set to 3000Mhz.
