Installing a dolby surround system

Hello, I'm trying to install a dolby system in my computer, but I don't have a good soundcard...
This is what I have in my pc: VIA® VT1705 6-channel High Definition audio CODEC
But it only has an exit, the green line out. - Shouldn't it have the three jacks for 5.1 / 7.1?
Back, front and subW?

Also, what could be a good external sound card that I could use

You are correct. It should have 3 jacks if surround sound is supported in your hardware. Seems that the driver does but your PC doesn't. Don't know anything about this
