[SOLVED] Installing a ML240L V2 on an Aorus B450 Elite

Just like the title says, currently I have a ryzen 5 3600 with the stock cooler and I'm not happy with the results that it's giving me (That's to be expected since it's a stock cooler). I made some research and considering my current budget and the stocks the best AIO cooler for me to buy looks to be the Cooler Master ML240L. I watched a guide online to see the installation process and one of the steps was to connect the pumps power to the CPU_OPT header on the motherboard. When I looked at my motherboard which is a Aorus B450 Elite I did not see such header. Is it possible for me to buy this cooler and still connect it properly ?

For some extra info, right now the case that I'm using is the Cooler Master MasterBox MB511 ARGB, It comes with three fans in the front panel and they are connected to the SYS_FAN2 header, there is another fan on the back and that one is connected to the
SYS_FAN1 header. Here's the link to all the products that I talked about:

My case: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-mb511-argb/
My mobo: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-ELITE-rev-1x#kf
The AIO I want to buy: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml240l-v2-rgb/

Solution
hi, aio pumps usualy draws more watts than fans, thus they mostly needs more amps, standart fan header is up to 1 amp, water pump fan header (usualy called as cpu_opt/w_pump or sys_xx/w_pump) those are rated for more than 1amp and can be safely used for pumps

since your board doesnt have any dedicated water pump fan ports, your fan pump may not be able to get to its fastest speed (it super quiet even at max speed), which will net u higher temperatures (as water flow will be slower)

in case of high temperatures while radiator wont be hot (i mean pipes inside rad), u can opt for secondary power source (sata powered fan controller)

So from what I understood is that I can still buy it and power the pump trough a fan header but I won’t be able to use it to it’s fullest potential. In that case what kind of recomendation would you give me ? Should I buy it regardless or buy an air cooler ?

air coolers have same performance as aio coolers, and they dont leak :p
what matters here is heatsink mass
noctua nh d15 is one of best air coolers, just make sure it will fit in your case
with one fan, cooler height is 165mm, if u use 2nd fan, hight will go up to 185mm (it depends on ram heatsinks)

there exists black version (called noctua nh d15 chromax)
but US market seems to be empty on those black versions (or really overprized, i live in EU and stock is here good)

Thank you for your quick answers btw, you are getting my upvotes and likes :) I live in Turkey and sadly I can’t find any noctua products here. Truth to be told you can’t find any like decent computer products here 😂 There is a cooler called cooler master 212, that seems to be in stock, is that good ?

u mean this one?
https://www.amazon.com.tr/Cooler-Master-Hyper-model-RR-212-x-20PM-A1/dp/B01IBSR18G
if yes than its a little bit overprized

dark pro 4 is much better (in cooling) and cheaper in your country
