Installing a new version of Windows on a MacBook

Hi, I'm new to the forum so sorry if this is the wrong thread or section.

My friend has a 2015 MacBook Pro 15", currently running Windows 10. It was previously a work laptop, and currently doesn't have any version of MacOS installed whatsoever. I have managed to access the boot camp settings though and have been given the option to reinstall MacOS.

My friend wants to install a fresh copy of Windows on it, in order to remove any restrictions set by the previous employer.

Is the best way forward to install MacOS first, gen that up and running, remove the old partition and old copy of Windows, then install a new copy - or can I go straight from the current copy to a new copy without bothering with MacOS.

I am quite good with computers, but am not a genius, so thanks in advance for any responses!

I would advise to install Mac OS first then do boot camp for it to run correctly.
