Installing a operating system.

Hello there.

Long story short. I have download Windows 8.. burned it to a Disc image with a ISO file.

My question is.. do i have to uninstall my current Operating system before chucking the disc and installing windows 8? or will it like automatically wipe everything and install fresh.

You can delete the existing partitions from the the installer, then select the empty drive as the install location (This will delete ALL data from the drive).

If you boot from the disk you can select whether you want to do an upgrade or via advanced options (or so) erase the disk.
