I've got a 1 TB HDD from a computer that just died that it was the system disk for and I want to install it as the backup drive in a Dell 7050T with a 512 GB SSD that has the operating system on it. The OS is Windows 10 Pro.

Will there be any issues installing the old HDD which has it's own Windows 10 Pro install onto the new system that already has a Windows OS installed?

As long as you don't try to boot from it, no problem.

The OS on it will be just wasted space. You probably want to get rid of ALL of it.
Not just a simple format in File Explorer, but commandline function diskpart, and the clean command.
