I currently have an old local 4 gb ddr3 ram installed on my pc which runs at 1333mhz
I want to upgrade the ram to 8gb by adding 4gb stick to the system.
Is there any problem of doing that or is there any
criteria for matching ram
can i install any 4 gb ram stick with current one without issues

Solution
In general, the computer defaults to the lowest specification RAM installed if all are not identically configured. So match as best you can, but it will work (very likely)
It should work. If you buy a 1600mhz stick, the motherboard will run both at 1333mhz. Just make sure you can return it to the store just in case. I have different dimms in my computer with no problem.
