Installing I7 7700K onto Z270A PC MATE

I recently purchased a new CPU, the i7 7700k. I am wishing to install it on a MSI Z170A PC MATE motherboard. I currently am running a i5 6400. When i load it into the slot, the computer starts up, although no display is represented. I have updated to the most recent bios and downloaded all new drivers for MSI. I aswell have a Nividia GTX 1070TI SUPERCLOCKED. Any help would be very helpful. I have recently put my old CPU (I5 6400) back into the motherboard, and my computer runs fine.

It looks like a cpu issue, then. If under warranty, try RMA-ing it.

No other possibility or any updates i may need to do in order to install this processor? Im really not looking into purchasing a new processor.

Not purchasing a new one, just replacing it. The CPU should be supported, since BIOS updated to the latest: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-PC-MATE#support-cpu
