Installing Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.00GHz, 4Mb Cache, 1333MHz FSB on Intel D945GCZ MB

Hi,
I purchased an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.00GHz, 4Mb Cache, 1333MHz FSB for my Intel D945GCZ MB. Do I need to set anything on the BIOS before installing the new CPU?

This is my first brain transplant. Many thanks for the help.

This one supports that Core 2 Duo. It has the Intel P35 chipset.

Your motherboard has the Intel 945G Chipset, which is not a Core 2 chipset. The Intel 945GC and 945GZ chipsets are listed as Core2 chipsets.
