I recently ordered corsair h45 liquid cooling for my cpu which was overheating. Only on opening the packaging I realised that it requires a 4 pin connection for fan and a 3 pin connector for pump. I am using gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H motherboard, which does not have the 3 pin connector. It only has cpu fan and system fan connections. Is there a way I can connect the liquid cooling on this motherboard?

Problem is there is only one 4 pin cpu fan connector near the cpu, the other 4 pin sys fan connector is pretty far off where the pump cable wont reach. If i use the below splitter cable (4 pin to 2 x4 pin )to utilise the cpu fan connection for both sink fan and pump, will it impact the performance of sink in any way. Is this safe to use ?
