[SOLVED] Installing Modern Games - Program Files (x86) vs Program Files

I remember reading a while ago about how Program Files was for 64bit Software/Programs, while Program Files (x86) is for 32bit.

So my question is, installing relatively modern(past few years) & modern games be affected in any way depending on their instillation location?

No.
Those folder names have no real properties. You can install applications wherever you'd like.
There are 2, simply because 32bit and 64bit applications should not be mixed in the same folder. No performance issue, just that a 32bit application should not be trying to access 64bit resources.

What's the Difference Between the "Program Files (x86)" and "Program Files" Folders in Windows?

There's a good chance you have both the "C:Program Files" and "C:Program Files (x86)" folders on your Windows PC.
