Installing new CPU later

I'm purchasing the ASUS Maximus VII Formula and later on a Intel i7 4790K. I just wanted to know if I should wait to for the new CPU before using the new motherboard or just use older Pentium G3220 for now?

BTW: There would be at the minimum a two month period where I wouldn't be able to use the new motherboard if I wait for the new CPU due to financial reasons...

Make sure to buy CPU and Mobo together to check them both at a same time. Buying G3220 for two months is not recommended. Wait if you can. What specs are you using right now

I probably didn't make myself very clear the first time,
I'm currently running a G3220 so I wouldn't need to buy a new CPU
I just really wanna know whether it's safe to install my G3220 and then a 4790K later?

Yes, it is more than safe to install and use G3220 for now and later on replace it with 4790k. No issue there.
