I am booting up an old computer. All it needs is RAM and storage so I got what I needed and am ready to put it together. I also already have a USB with windows 10 ready to go.
On the old PC, I had manually OC'd the ram because I could not enable DOCP. Do I need to wipe BIOS to undo the OC I did or will the new ram which is a different model be good to go.
This PC has Ryzen 2700x on an ASUS Prime x470 Pro using Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) which is on the QVL so I should be able to enable DOCP this time without having to OC anything. Also the 2700x doesnt like 4 sticks of ram so im good there also.
Old Ram is Corsair Vengeance RGP Pro DDR4 3200MHz 4x8GB
