[SOLVED] installing older driver versions (gtx 1650)

sorry if this isnt in the right thread im new here!

anyways so my current driver version is 431.60 WHQL windows 10 64 bit, my gpu is new so the rollback option just goes back to microsoft adapter thing
i want to install driver version 398.36, when i try to install it all it does is say 'the graphic driver could not find compatible graphics hardware nvidia'.
what is the problem?

Actually, as per this article, the 398.36 driver version does not support the GTX 1650

1. Why do you want to install an older driver?
2. That driver is not compatible with your GPU, hence the error message you see.

because the game monster hunter world runs better at that driver version and i wanna get the most out of the graphics
