Installing Samsung evo 850 500GB SSD

I'm going to Fry's to have my PC built(I don't know how to build one) and I'm considering getting a Samsung evo SSD but I hear you need some things to install it or something? Or will Fry's do that when they put it together. I'm using pcpartpicker and it's compatible. I just don't want to buy it and find out I can't install it or they can't.

Any PC with SATA can run a SSD (Any PC for the last 10 years). I don't know if the store will install that for you, but it isn't difficult, and also is a good learning opportunity for building PCs. 😉

I saw a video and it said I need like other stuff to install it or something? Or do I just install it by itself

Well, you'll need a screwdriver, and perhaps a SATA data cable (if you are using all the ones provided by the motherboard).

IF your PC doesn't have a mounting point or bracket for a 2.5 inch drive you just get a 3.5 to 2.5 bracket. They are like. 10 bucks if that. other than that nothing else is needed. Most cases these days though come with a 3.5 to 2.5 bracket or a spot just for SSD's
