Greetings to all,

I have Windows 2000 Professional on my C drive and Windows
XP Professional on my D drive. Both are on FAT32 file
system. I also have Linux installed on my E drive. Now,
the thing is that I wish to install Windows 2003 Server
(any edition) on my C drive after removing Windows 2000
Professional. Can you let me know how to accomplish this
task, will the Windows Master Boot Record overwrite the
Linux LILO.

Also let me know which Operating System files I will have
to keep.

Detailed information on this is muchly appreciated.

regards
David

Boot the Windows 2003 install CD-Rom and choose to format only the system
partition prior to starting your install. Save a copy of boot.ini located in
the root of the system partition as you may need to append the line for XP
back into it. No idea on the linux stuff.

In addition, uninstall LILO first. It seems like it's your loader.
