Installing windows 10 on new HDD not working

I just got a new WD Black 1tb HDD and im trying to install windows 10 on it, through a usb bootable device like i did before,
but i cant get it to boot, ive tried changing it from gpt or mbr and do partitions or whatever, which i dont know much about but i think i did it right, and it seems to install fine, but i just cant get it to seem to boot it always is going to my current windows installation on my older current drive after the installation is complete,
ive tried selecting different drives in bios and stuff like that too

AMD Fx 8350 4.0 ghz
H80i water cooler
msi R7950 3GB
8gb ram

@boodaddy is right! In order to be able to successfully install Windows 10 on the WD Black, you'd need to unplug the old HDD. When you have more than 1 storage device attached to the motherboard while installing Windows, you'd most probably encounter an OS confusion. This would result in a lot of booting issues later on.
If you plan to have the WD Black as your new booting drive, make sure you have set the boot priority in BIOS right.
