So I have a older all in one computer that turns on but nothing comes on screen it's just black. This all in one has no where to plug another monitor in so I can test that. It also doesn't recognize a keyboard so I could try getting I to bios. So my last idea is to put in a new hard drive and see if that might fix it. So I have a empty hard drive I put in my reader into my other desktop so that I can install windows 10 on it before putting it in the all in one computer. So I have my win10 CD in and my new drive in my reader, I went to disk part and cleaned it but I get a error saying "windows cannot be installed to this disk. Setup does not support configuration of or installation to disks connected through a USB or IEEE 1394 port"

I wasnt sure what to do next so I came here for help. Any help would be so appreciated .

Thank you....
Lisa

Don't install the OS on a drive in one system, then move that drive to the AllInOne.
Even in a perfectly working system, doesn't work like that.
Similarly, you can't install to a USB connected drive.

You need to figure out what is wrong with the All In One.
