Installing Windows 8.1 Again

Hi so I recently damaged my laptop's hard drive by dropping it and replaced it. I set up a Windows 8.1 boot drive on my USB flash drive and installed windows on it again but I have some problems. My computer is an Asus Notebook which I think they had its Windows 8.1 apps and preconfiguration customized for themselves. So basically I have a laptop right now that doesn't perform a lot of the functions that it originally did (i.e I can't connect to wifi, it expects a wired connection). I tried Asus backtracker but the program doesn't even recognize my pc as an Asus laptop so it won't work. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry it turns out I derped out, downloading some drivers off of the asus website seems to have fixed my issue. Thanks tho!
