Installing windows on ssd?

Disconnect any HDD. Connect the SSD, and install the OS. After the OS is installed re-connect the HDD.

Build your computer with the SSD, boot the system with the Windows disc (or USB drive if you made one) and install Windows as normal.

If you are talking about migrating an existing copy of Windows onto an SSD, that is a bit different.

If you are migrating, we would need much more information about your setup. If is a prebuilt, like HP/Dell..., then include a specific model # from the service tag.

i did recently build a computer and I dont really have much so I could format again it would just would be a pain but I found out my computer would run much faster with off a sdd card because right now everything is running of a two tb hardrive I bought.
