There are so many of these threads already Im keeping it short.

AMD: More, cheaper cores. Better performance to price ratio in the lower end market. Overall weaker architecture than intel, so more cores are thrown in.
INTEL: Stronger single core performance, less cores. Overall stronger performer than AMD, rules the high end market. But this comes at a steeper price than amd.

If you are on a budget, AMD is usually the way to go. Pure performance but costly Intel.

Depends on budget if lower then the 8350 for rendering or go the 4670K/4690K for better gaming and everything else...If you have an extra $100 go the 4770K/4790K which is far better than then the 8350 at everything
