Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my PC. The problem is that I just bought a new motherboard (A68HM-E33) and it has integrated graphics, which are not recognised by my Windows 8.1. I double che cked that the monitor is plugged in, but only my monitor that is plugged into my graphics card (ADM RADEON HD 5770) works... Could the problem have something to do with the BIOS because on my old motherboard I set it so that when the computer first launches it loads the integrated graphics first then my external graphics card? Maybe that is the problem? If it is, can you tell me how can I change it? Thanks in advance! Any help is appreciated!

Solution
As far as I can tell that graphics card has two DVI outputs as well as an HDMI output. If your second monitor has HDMI you just need a DVI-HDMI converter or cable. You may even have got a converter in the box with the graphics card. They're both digital interfaces, so conversion is easy.

I'd say you're a long way from screwed.
More information needed.

You definitely have an A-series chip installed which has a GPU built in, not an Athlon x2/x4?

If you boot the computer with the monitor connected to the motherboard, do you even see the BIOS screen? Have you ensured that integrated graphics is enabled in BIOS?

When you replaced the motherboard, did you reinstall Windows or just swap the motherboard over and hope?

Most likely it's the last case and Windows hasn't installed all the necessary drivers for the motherboard. If so you can try installing the driver whilst using your graphics card and then see if you can force it to integrated graphics by booting with the graphics card taken out. Really the best thing would be to install Windows from scratch to ensure it installs with the correct motherboard drivers only.

Hello! Thanks for your answer! This is my current pc:
MOtherboard: A68HM-E33
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition
Ram: Kingston 8GB 1600Mhz
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 5770
Now, when I start my computer up, I can enter the BIOS on my monitor that is connected to my Radeon HD 5770, which means the MOBO loads up my graphics card automatically. However my monitor that is plugged into my MOBO, isn't turning on at all. I went into BIOS and checked the settings... I am using Dual Graphics, but I am not sure if I should make it PEG or IDG? EDIT: I reinstalled windows

The motherboard doesn't have a graphics chip on it, it can only use integrated graphics on the CPU. Basically the VGA/HDMI ports on the motherboard connect to the graphics part of the CPU.

The AMD Athlon X4 860K doesn't have integrated graphics.

There's your problem - you don't have integrated graphics.

In case you install an AMD CPU which does have integrated graphics on it.

Years ago you could get motherboards with graphics chips soldered on, but now Intel and AMD have CPUs with graphics integrated, the VGA/HDMI connectors on motherboards are almost always just there as an interface. [Edit - made more sense before edit to post above!]
