Hello, I have started working on my first PC build and I need to know if my processor's integrated graphics are compatible with my motherboard, I won't be using it to game, which is why I haven't bought a gpu.

My CPU is: AMD Ryzen 3 2200g with integrated VEGA graphics onboard.
My motherboard is: ASUS Prime A320M-A, it does have display cables and is brand new.

However my monitor doesn't pick up any signals but it is about a decade old and has been sitting in the sun and collecting dust. Is my monitor to blame and should I get a new monitor? Or should I buy a GPU because my PC doesn't support integrated graphics. Please help soon, thank you!

It's the ViewSonic VX2240W and I'm looking inside the frame, it looks like melted plastic inside and some wires are damaged, it's very dusty as well. Pretty confident it's the monitors fault.
