Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor X7900

Hi I want to upgrade my pentium 4 Processor to Intel® Core™2 Extreme Processor X7900 (4M Cache, 2.80 GHz, 800 MHz FSB). All I know is that my socket is PPGA478. It says on the intel website that this processor is a PPGA478 socket > (http://ark.intel.com/products/31730/Intel-Core2-Extreme-Processor-X7900-4M-Cache-2_80-GHz-800-MHz-FSB) So can I upgrade to this? Do I simply just swap the processors around? Or do I need to know anything else to upgrade my cpu? If you need any more information please ask me. Thank You.

Yeah but the E4700 is a PLGA 775. But my computer socket is a LGA 775...so which one is the best one i listed?
