[SOLVED] Intel 10700 vs 10700k

Hi guys,

So im waiting for my RTX 3080 to come and the guy has said that it will cost me 400$ more than before and it's gonna exceed my budget.
So i was wondering if i could buy Intel 10700 instead of 10700k.
is there any significant difference between the both as my friends have said that it's mainly used for overclocking and since im not gonna overclock any of the components should i go for the 10700 or 10700k is really good ?

10700k has higher boost clock out of the box,and ofcourse the overclocking capabilities.
Do you really need a 8 core 16 thread cpu for gaming only?
A 6 core 12 thread 10400f is perfect for gaming.

Well actually i was going for 5600x but it was 6 cores and 12 threads but i since im a digital artist and have to render stuff through AE or blender then i need the 8 cores right.
So thats why im opting for 10700 and not 5600x

If your not going to overclock then the 10700 is fine, still buy a decent cooler for it.
