Question Intel 1151 CPU layout

Dear Fellows
So i have been having a problem since few days a chip of the pin from my mobos socket 1151 snapped of after i tried to repair it
I have been so far confused as to what was the purpose of that pin

All is working fine cpu ram gpu mobo everything for days i was thinking i was the gpus pin since its labelled PEG something and that also am not sure off however threw in an old GPu today and no problems what so ever

I am getting cheap sockets for 4$ should i try that or not

If you're having no issues thus far, then you're probably ok....

Some pins dont do anything and are just placeholders. So you might have gotten lucky and snapped one of those off.

If you aren't having problems yet you probably are fine.

wow man thanks this is by far one of the biggest layouts i have seen so far so let me share a picture and please do shed some light on it once again i assume the pin falls on the right below dark green areas which is the pci slot pin however as said before tried an old gpu and it worked perfectly fine waiting for my new gpu its still in shipping anyway heres the pic do zoom to see
