Intel 330 SSD Slow

Hello,

So I did a clean install and upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 today.

I tried running a benchmark using the AS SSD Benchmark tool and got some pretty slow scores:

the score is similar to what I got when running Windows 7 ( around 400).

Help would be appreciated.

PC specs:
ASRock z77 Extreme4
Intel i5 2500k
Intel 330 120GB
8GB RAM 1600Mhz
Gigabyte Radeon HD7950

It's a 3 year old SSD and you won't see much of an improvement from W7 to W8.
