intel accel

You use it if you need it. If you don't need it, there's no reason to use
it. If you install it in a situation where you don't need it, all it does is
take up space on your hard disk.

Just install it. If it does not make sense to install it, the setup
program will tell you and exit without changing your system.

And a lot of the Intel accelerator "technology" (for lack of a better word) has
found its way into XP and 2003 Server. So the real benefit lies in retrofitting
a more advanced approach (mandated by Intel's chipsets being more advanced than
Micro$oft's software as always) onto older operating systems... Ben Myers
