One feature I'm interested in is ARL's iGPU. Reportedly, laptop ARL will get the same Alchemist cores as MTL (w/ Lunar Lake, being the premium part, getting Battlemage), while desktop ARL will get half the Alchemist cores (4 cores) as laptop.
Alchemist has proven its worth on laptops, being on par or at times better than 780M, so I'm curious how ARL-S (desktop) iGPU will perform w/ half the cores, but w/o the power constraint of the laptop part. My rough guess is it'll probably be similar to 5700G's iGPU performance or better, ie 720p gaming.
FPS gamers likely won't care, but for "casual" gamers--raises hand--it may be enough to not bother with a discrete GPU.
