Why not? It's the slowest component in the system resulting in a 2.4 rating.
well, beside that this thread was from 6 months ago.... the reason why it would not be worth the effort is that it uses it's own series of sockets if memory serves correct.
So with that said, the only upgrade you can go (if it's even possible) is with another Atom cpu thats on the same socket. So no core 2 duo, pentium, core i3, ect will work.
So is it worth the effort to upgrade atom cpu with another slightly faster atom?
