Hi, I'm looking for a new platform to upgrade my aging 6600k. I've explored some options recently, and I kinda found this B360 or B365 boards that are labeled "gaming" for some reason. To my understanding, Intel B boards are not capable of any sort of overclocking. So, all in all, what's with the "gaming" name on them? is it just marketing? is there no real difference between B and H boards for regular gaming use?

Solution
Gaming and overclocking are not synonyms.
Obviously - you can use non-overclockable system for gaming.

There are differences between those chipsets - mainly in number of available USB and SATA ports.
(B365 characteristics are basically the same as H370)
