64-big processors have far more advantage than being able to address more than 4GB of RAM. This is a common misconception (and also, it sounds like your understanding of 64-bit systems is not correct).

Samsung is still making the A7 chips for Apple. His comment is completely valid about the increase in transistor density 28 to 22nm obviously but TSMC and Samsung have 20nm around the corner.
