[citation][nom]willard[/nom]You do realize that compared to the USA, China is a brutally oppressive country, and its government's rampant corruption has resulted in the deaths of literally tens of millions of its own citizens, not to mention the occasional slaughter of peaceful protestors, shady international trade tactics, lack of any real regulation of working conditions and some of the worst air pollution in the world, right? Not that either of our posts have anything to do with this article or anything said in the comments.[/citation]
Sounds like the US to me.

[citation][nom]azncracker[/nom]for the same price that I got it for almost a year ago? ($180)[/citation]
It's $285 in my country. But my current PC is 9 years old so yeah, I don't care about the price, I just want it.

Hope that AMD can provides some good processors as good as Intel soon! It means that I need to delay my next build to September!

[citation][nom]jdamon113[/nom]what the hell does intel China have to do with it.intel chips are actually made in USA and israel, The finishing of the chips are sent to Costa Rica and MalaysiaIntel Leave China out it. I am sick of hearing that fucking Country.[/citation]
They are installing the hardware based spyware. Etched right into your chip. Your PC will morph into a killing machine.

[citation][nom]Onikage[/nom]Same here Still ruling with a Q6600 G0 , what a timeless CPU !!!!!! bought it in summer 2007 thats almost 6 years now and still crushes any game out there.there will never be another Q6600 that slips thru time, and doesnt get too old .[/citation]
Got four of them dude, they are very good processors.

From a business perspective Intel wants to save money at this point and shut down r&d but then the most talented staff would be laid off and availible to IBM and AMD. They are now at the mercy of the machine they have built to crush the compitition.

The q6600 is capable enough without claiming it runs everything max, yes your baby paid off but its not a 2500k.

China's government is the problem, I suspect the poor farmers and cramped city dwellers there are as good S the rest of us.

[citation][nom]kensingtron[/nom]Intel marketing Dpt: "Sir how are we gonna sell the rest of these over priced Sandy Bridge E processors when everyone knows the superior/cheaper Ivy units are only a few weeks away?"Intel marketing Executive: "Don't you mean... a few MONTHS! Mwah hahhaha Mwah hahaha"Intel marketing Dpt: "He he hehe he"[/citation]

would be even funnier with a mr burns doing his diabolical finger bridges while talking to smithers from his executive chair and homer going ' doh' while watching on a monitor from another part of the plant while carl crosses out the 'ivy' and adds 'sandy' bridge back to the intel stamp/tattoo on the back of homers head.

[citation][nom]Zingam[/nom]You do realize that compared to China, USA are just a small underpopulated province without any real history, traditions and culture?[/citation]
not to bag on you, but america has more achievments under it's belt in 250 years then the 3 china has had in 3,000 years ( the abacus and gun powder and first country to 1 billion people ).
unless of course you count running over protestors with tanks as a worthy tradition, why are you still practicing 3,000 year old rites?
some times i wonder why america didn't just let japan take over china.

Yeah, you're right. China has such a rich culture of infanticide, murder of political prisoners, and slave labor in modern day. We should be jealous that the majority of their people live in squalor and abysmal poverty. Culture... yeah... that... not to mention that since fireworks they haven't contributed much to society..

Intel also has assembly/test in China & Vietnam

These bastards are just trying to milk people for money who are building gaming computers for all the post February releases of GW2, Tera and what not, they know the 1155 i5s are the best on the market for those kinds of systems and those sell Alienware computers and gaming laptops, they actually raised the price of their i5 series to milk it for even more because AMD cant make a competing product and dropped the ball. I am not buying a damn thing until they release the fucking Ivy Bridge, crooked shits.
