Hi guys

Apologies, not the most savvy with these things. I have a weak HP X2 hybrid which has around 1.6ghz.

Since Sky has released Skygo Desktop, my processor cannot handle the thing and so I am looking for a cheap laptop to suit my needs. Full Skygo requirements can be found here -
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/How-to/System-requirements-for-the-new-Sky-Go-desktop-app/ba-p/2842896

Essentially, I was looking to get something older to handle the software and would like to know what my options are, e.g. i5 2nd generation, i7 2nd or 3rd generation (as long as it has the GHZ). I would be grateful for advice on older generation processors that would be able to handle Skygo.

Grateful for your thoughts, apologies if I have overlooked anything.

I wouldn't recommend a random used older laptop. They are fairly fragile devices. So you might get one that works but fails after a few weeks for a connection to the display or a bad disk.

Dell has factory refurbished laptops that I would be OK recommending -- https://www.dell.com/learn/uk/en/ukdfh1/campaigns/splitter

I'm in England. If it is possible to go for an older processor, I would be looking to spend up to £150. Otherwise I would have to consider increasing the budget and going for something new. I dont really want to spend too much as it will only be used once or twice a month max.
