Intel Core i5-4690k vs Intel Core i7-3770k

Hello friends!
I have a 1155 socket motherboard, and wondered if the Intel i7-3770k is fine for gaming instead of the i5-4690k, or if in new games like Witcher 3, I would really see a difference.

I have a EVGA Geforce GTX 970 video card, if that changes anything.

In games unless they have heavy physics you won't need a processor that's extremely good you wanna focus on the graphics card but if you have the option I would go with the i7

The i7 will perform better due to the hyper threading and more importantly larger onboard cache. As for it being $100 better, that's a different question.

Get the i7 if you can afford that. It will last a long time and the hyper threading will be useful if you ever decide to do more than just playing games such as video editing.

An i7 will definitely NOT bottleneck a GTX 970 because it is a very powerful processor
