Intel Core i5 Motherboard Graphics Card's Slot???

So i just got a graphics card of geforce 9500gt (I cant remember the NAme)

And i want to put it in my motherboard and i dont know where to put it in (I dont know in which slot to put in) it must be the most basic thing but i dont evn know that much so id like someone to help me solve this matter

It needs to be installed in a PCI Express slot if your motherboard has one (which it should have unless it's very old).

Post make & model of motherboard & I'll tell you if it has the required slot.

("Intel Core i5" is the make & model of the CPU, not the motherboard).

On the other hand, unless he has some very strange proprietary board, even the earliest i5 CPU boards had PCIE x16 slots. The lowest revision was 2.0. Google a picture of a PCIE x16 slot and insert it in the topmost slot on your board.
