[SOLVED] Intel Core i7 9700 with B360M Mobo?

Hello there,

I want to build a PC only for Cinema 4D rendering. (CPU rendering).

Since I'm on a very low budget, I'm thinking to spend only for the Processor.

Here are the specs:-

• Intel Core i7 9700. (non K)
• MSI B360M Bazooka mobo.
• Corsair Vengeance® LPX 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz
• Cooler Master Hyper 212X
• Corsair Force Series™ MP510 240GB M.2 NVME
• Cooler Master Elite V3 400W

I mainly want to know whether this CPU and Mobo is matching?
Because some people mentioned to use Z390 series chipset mobo with Core i7 9700 cpu. Is that a must?

I'm not overclocking the CPU.

I just need save time to work on my Main PC, while my renders are going on this new one. Renders are not heavy and Complex. They just take time. So, I want to keep them going on a different PC.

It will work functunaly, but do understand that if you ever plan on expanding your pc you will need a new mobo.
But yes, it will work if you want that config.

Yes, since this mobo is very low cost, it is okay to change it when upgrading

I would worry about the PSU more than I would worry about the motherboard.
