What does it got the rest do not? Does it make you invisible in Unreal Tournament 2004 ?

I kind of doubt that hyperthreading was dropped at the silicon-level, seeing as there's apparently going to be an i9-9900K with SMT enabled. The i7 is most likely based on the same chip, only with the feature and some cache disabled to encourage enthusiasts to spend an extra $100 or so for the full version of the CPU.

I actually agree with this. I was just speaking hypothetically.

Do we know whether it still has an iGPU? That should easily be worth at least 2 CPU cores, and many prospective buyers will be pairing it with a dGPU, anyhow.
