Your motherboard has the Intel 940 serie that doesn't support more than 4GB of DDR2 memory.

It's limited to 2GB per RAM slot, other setup won't work.

Why do you need more than 4GB RAM on an old motherboard?

With 4GB RAM, a good Quad Core CPU and a fast SSD, you can have a smooth Windows 10 Pro machine.

Tweaking the settings on such an old and low end card isn't going to do anything for gaming performance. You're better off looking for an upgrade. A GT 710 would be better than what you have. Sadly, even a GT 1030 with DDR4 memory would be an improvement (don't buy one, BTW, they suck).

Yup, there are no real tweaks or optimizations. It's just a basic office GPU from 12 years ago; however it performs is how it performs.
